Why and how should an item be registered?

WOOBAZ registration assigns a unique identifier to an item to make verification, tracking, reporting and return easier when the situation requires it.

Why register?

To give the item a stable reference, make it easier to identify, keep its essential information and provide a reliable entry point in case of loss, theft, inspection or return.

How does it work?

The user chooses a category, enters the known information, adds available identifiers and receives a WOOBAZ registration usable with a certificate and a QR code.

Which identifiers can be linked?

Depending on the item, WOOBAZ can store data such as a serial number, RFID or NFC, microdot, UV marking or another relevant identifier. These elements strengthen checks.

Which checks are available?

The public check confirms that a registration exists. Authorities have more advanced checks according to their permissions, while the user is notified when an important consultation occurs.

A living registration

The value of the file depends on the quality of the recorded information. The user can complete the item, update its status and keep useful documents in the account.
